It has been a while since we last posted something and I must apologize for that delay. We have been insanely busy the past 6 weeks due to moving, Kim and I getting married, the ‘Got Hitched’ Tour of CO/WY and getting everything back to normal, whatever that is, in our lives.
The upside is that we now have a dedicated work space for music at the house. Practices will be more regular, instruments are all over so we can work when inspiration hits and we can finish up recording our first release. That’s a VERY welcome future for us.
Here in April, we’re going to be playing a lot of shows in Houston. It was not really planned out that way, but sometimes that’s the way the booking cookie crumbles. We return to Bohemeo’s on the 15th with Ben Hall and The March Divide, we’re at The Nook on the UH Campus on the 21st, then we’re at Town in City for my birthday show on the 29th. We close out the run with a May 6th show at MOD Coffeehouse in Galveston, then we’re taking nearly a month off from shows to record.
After that, we’re off to Oregon and Washington in June for some shows, which has us VERY excited since this will be a maiden voyage for us to these areas. Then, in July, The Return of Pop & Poof Tour kicks off for a couple of weeks.
We’re really excited to be hitting the road for a while. Other than these tours, we’re going to try to slow down locally so we can finish our album by the end of the year. Here’s to hoping!
All of you be safe out there and keep up the good fight.
