Happy November, everyone! We were running around like crazy folks last month and totally missed updating the website. We apologize about if anyone missed the update.
So what’s going on? Well, we had a few last minute shows in October, Helf had hand surgery, Samuel had a wisdom tooth extracted, Kim had to have a medical procedure so we did not have much downtime. We were seriously scheduling things so that the would have the longest amount of recuperation time before the next show rolled around. We survived and feel much better now!
This past weekend was downright amazing! First off, thanks to everyone who came out to support the Grifters & Shills Album Release Party for Pretty Little Secrets. I’m glad we can all openly talk about how amazing the record is now…and thank you for being so kind to us as we kicked the night off. Second, thanks to the Urban Pioneers for being more awesome live than we had even imagined. Finally, thanks to our friends, John and Rebecca, for including us on their special night and being a band that inspires us every time we hear them whether live or recorded. The three of us love you two very much. Thank you!
Now, we rest up a bit and hit the road! We’ll be at Vintage 22 in Ada, OK on Friday, then we’ll be at GypsyUncorked in Wichita Falls on Saturday! This will our last road trip for a while because we REALLY need to rest up and write a bit through the holidays.
We close out November at MOD Coffeehouse in Galveston on the 29th. Then, on December 14th, we close out the year with our annual holiday show at Bohemeo’s. This year, Grifters & Shills combined their holiday show with ours to make a Holiday Extravaganza!! We’ll be collecting clothes for the homeless, sharing our gratitude to all the folks who support us and having a wonderful time with the whole thing! We look forward to seeing you and closing out the year with a night of friends, love and music!
Be safe out there, we’ll see you all soon!
