Hope this message finds y’all well! We have working on new songs, experimenting with adding some folks to the lineup and prepping for the few shows we have left for the remainder of the year.
First up, let’s talk remaining shows! We will be doing a short weekend run next month with Rock Bottom String Band and Grifters & Shills. The first night will be Friday, December 17th down at the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston, TX. The following night, December 18th, we’ll be at Dan Electros here in Houston. Both shows should be a blast and will bring us to the end of the year.
As for the experimenting with an extended lineup, it is just that. We’re experimenting with it. If it works out, I’d expect to see us doing a “full band” show here and there by the summer of 2022. So far, it’s been working out pretty well and sounding pretty solid. We’re still working on it all together, but we sure hope it works out.
Finally, we’ve been busy working on new songs. Once Cracked, Flawed and Frayed came out, we had some peaceful moments to work on new material and it’s coming along. You will hear a few of these at the December shows, that’s for sure. We’re happy to see we’re still able to create something new.
2021 has been a weird year, which is a bit of an understatement. However, we’ve been able to get back out there, play some music, see some friends and really remember why we love creating and performing songs for people. It has been so rewarding to get back to it. We’re already starting to look to 2022 and adding shows to our schedule. Hopefully you’ll see those start popping up.
Thanks to all of y’all for sticking with us through all the mess. We’ll see y’all soon!
