Happy May Day, everyone! Hope this day finds you doing well.
We made it through April! That’s exciting for us, as we started off the month with Kim having her thyroid removed due to the cancer we discussed in the past post. She made it through the surgery with flying colors and sang her first song on stage 4 days later. Then, 9 days later, she was on the road, performing in Tulsa, OK. She’s a badass.
May will see us doing some personal travelling, so shows will be a bit more sparse, but not short on quality. This Sunday, May 7th, we’ll be playing at the Black Page Brewing Co. Grand Opening Celebration! Our good buddy, Jimmy Pizzitola, will be playing, as well. We’re stoked!
Then, we’ll be rolling through the rest of the months with some more kick ass shows
May 13th, we’ll be at The Old Quarter Acoustic Café with Trish Cramblet. Trish is someone who’s music we adore so we’re really excited to have her play this show with us.
May 16th, we’ll be heading be heading to The Saxon Pub in Austin, TX for a show with Austin Mayse! This one is a rare appearance for us in the Austin area. We had a blast playing shows with Austin back in November, so we know it’ll be a good time on his home turf. Austin and Austin, how can you go wrong?
May 26th will see us recreating our holiday show from last December as we throw down with Grifters & Shills and Whiskeydick over at Ronnie’s Hog Heaven! We love Ronnie’s, we love Whiskeydick and we love Grifters & Shills. It all seems like a great recipe for a memorable night. So, come hang!
June will see us heading to New Mexico and us headlining the Baytown Summer Music Festival! We’re so stoked for that. Keep an eye out on our calendar for new additions and be safe out there, y’all!
