October 24, 2022 – The Home Stretch…

Happy Monday, everyone!

We’re just coming off a quick run to Bryan, TX where we appeared on the KBTX Free Music Friday segment before heading over to play at The 101 with Grifters & Shills, Thunderosa and Mary-Charlotte Young. The interview/performance went great on KBTX and the show was even better. It was one of those bills that built throughout the night and really came together to be a lot of fun.

Now, we’re coming to the home stretch of 2022, which means the show schedule is slowing down and the attempts at writing new songs are ramping up. We have the songs for another EP and nearly enough to just make an album. We’re just trying to figure out the best way to do it. Maybe we’ll do a couple of online EPs and combine them into a physical record? Who knows, keep checking to find out. The good part of slowing down to close out the year is no cancelled shows due to the Astros making the World Series. Christmas and New Years falling on the weekend also took away some show chances.

So what’s coming up? We’ve got a 2-day run with Austin Mayse to kick off November. We’ll be at the Old Quarter Acoustic CafĂ© in Galveston on November 10th and then we’ll be at Shoeshine Charlie’s Big Top Lounge in Houston on November 11th. The Big Top show sees us adding Charles Bryant to the bill, which will be amazing. We love Charles and are so happy to be sharing the night with him.

After that weekend, we’re done until December 10th, when we’ll be at Ronnie’s Hog Heaven in Dickinson, TX with Grifters & Shills and Whiskeydick. This is our end of the year wrap-up show. We’re really excited to be doing a local show with Whiskeydick. Grifters & Shills did the work and got them down here. We’re so very grateful.

That’s really it for now. We just wanted to check in. For more up-to-the-minute info, check us out on social media. We stay on top of those way better than the website.

Be safe out there, y’all!
