It has been a bit since we’ve updated this news section. Our apologies for that. Hopefully y’all follow us on social media so you see news as it happens. That said, we’ll be better at keeping this updated at least once a month.
So what’s up with us?
Well, in sad news, we played our last show at Dan Electro’s about 9 days ago. We’re really bummed to lose what has been our home base for the past 6 years. They were always so supportive of us and really gave us a place to play whenever we needed a show plus they trusted us enough to allow us to bring in whoever we wanted on bills. Outside of the music, it was also a place we stopped in for a beer and conversation whenever we were in the Heights. We always ran into folks we knew and felt at home. It’s a real big hit to lose this place.
In good news, we did our first community open mic here in Baytown. It was an absolutely beautiful night of performers coming out to play and support their fellow artists…oh, and a lot of folks came out to watch, as well. We brought in 150+ people to take in the event. It felt good to get live music back in Baytown.
On the horizon, we’ll be playing Bohemeo’s on Saturday with The March Divide and Tucker Hart. We haven’t played Bohemeo’s in a really long time, so it’ll be good to get back out there to play a show. Next up, we’ll be out at the Pearland Arts & Crafts Festival kicking it off at 10:30 with a two-hour set. Then, to close out October, we’ll be heading to Bryan for a show at The 101 and an appearance on the KBTX Free Music Friday segment of the news.
November has us playing some shows with Austin Mayse in Galveston and Houston then December will be a blow out, end-of-the-year show at Ronnie’s with Grifters & Shills plus Whiskeydick! We’re really excited for that show, so mark your calendars for December 10th because that’s going to be a killer show!
Until next time…
