Tonight! We’ll be down at the Old Quarter with Micah Schnabel & Vanessa Jean Speckman! It’s going to be a great time and a show we’ve been looking forward to for quite a while. Micah & Vanessa have been guests on Music in the Minor League. We’ve known them for a long time and love all of their musical endeavors.
Speaking of Music in the Minor League, we’re back posting episodes again! We had return guest, Sean Burns in last week and will have Jay and Trav from Guttercunt in next week to talk. We’ve got quite a few episodes recorded and have the rest of the year scheduled out. We should be rolling along nicely for a while now. Thanks for patience as we took a break.
Speaking of a break, we are, in fact, taking a break on live performances for the rest of the year. We have two shows left after tonight. The first will be an opening slot of Zoe Pete Ford at the Old Quarter on October 8th and the final date will be on November 21st at Fredonia Brewing in Nacogdoches, TX. We either have concert tickets, personal events or other obligations for the rest of the year on the weekends, so we can honestly say we’re done for most of the rest of the year.
That said, next year marks 10 years of Brightwire. We’re going to be doing as many full band shows as we can, we’ll be hitting the road some more and trying to celebrate the milestone the best we can. We’ll have more on that soon. Expect a cool hometown show in there to celebrate.
