September 30, 2024 – Falling into Fall…

We survived the summer. It was an interesting one. There were some pretty amazing highs and a few really down-low lows. But, so is life, right?

In our last post, we were heading to the New England area for some shows and, man, were those some fun shows. We got to meet a ton of awesome folks and some folks we’ve known for a long time via the internet but have never met in person. It really was a great time. Even the shows where just a few people showed up were fun. We got to see new places and sometimes you forget how much fun it can be to play for just a few people who actually give a damn.

Now, the fall is here.

What does this mean for us? Well, we’ve got a few out of town shows, a special full-band show and lots of down time once Winter hits. It has been a long year filled with shows so we’re going to try to take some time to write new tunes and enjoy the holidays.

This coming Saturday, we’ll be out in League City at the League City Village Fair & BBQ Cook Off. Our set is at 1pm. We’ll be playing with lots of awesome folks like Emily Glazener, Tucker Hart, Jimmy Kaiser and Big Jordan. The headliner for the night will be Jerrod Niemann.

Then, next week, on October 10th, we’ll be at the Old Quarter performing a full-band set during our show with Memphis, TN’s Chris Milam. It’s going to be a great show and only $10! Buy tickets here: https://www.prekindle.com/event/75726-brightwirefull-band-and-chris-milam-galveston

The following morning, October 11th, we’ll be heading to Amarillo for a show at The 806, which kicks off at 9pm. We had a great time there this past summer and are looking forward to coming to hang with folks in Amarillo yet again! Then, we’ll be playing our first Dallas show the next day when we come to Opening Bell Coffee in Dallas, TX. For those who have a hard time with calendars, that will be October 12th. We’ll be playing from 7-8:30pm.

Then, we’re shutting it down for the month and taking some time to relax before a handful of November shows. We’ll be taking December and January off unless an absolutely ridiculous show pops up for us like opening for a band you’d be seeing whether we were there or not.

Have a great one, y’all!
